Tourette might act up if you are excited, if you are hyper, if you are sad, if you are annoyed, or just all the time. It was supposed to be program to send electric shocks to stop involuntary muscle spasms. This may worsen or lessen your tourettes for a period of time. There is also medication to stop the tics again for a certain period of time it will last then you will have to take another dose. Some of the medication might affect a person’s natural abilities that they have. If someone has OCD or ADHD they will be taking medication and that might interfere with the medicine that they will take for Tourette syndrome.
Tourettes could affect a person’s breathing or sleeping by their tics rapidly going so fast that you don’t have time to breath. When you have Tourettes that are very severe you are not allowed to drive. Tourettes may also transfer injuries by you ticing, and rubbing yourself against yourself resulting to getting a rash. Also it might increase migraine percentages towards you. So really there isn’t a cure for tourette syndrome. A lot of people have tourettes they just don’t know yet. People are more likely just to receive tics and not tourette syndrome. People that have ADHD might be affected by the tourettes in a way that the hyperness might affect the tourettes in a way that they act up more often. Sugar will extremely dangerously affect the tourettes by a humongous effect on you. Peanuts, sweets, soft drinks, chocolate, artificial additives, coloring in food, and any food that comes in packages are some of the things you really shouldn’t give people if they have tourettes.
